Aaack! I was just eyeing the little stack of comments on fb (so what if they’re only from 3 people, myself included), looking forward to receiving comments on this here blog…. when the lovely Katharina M. pointed out to me that it’s currently impossible to comment here!! WTF?? I’m doing some research to solve it but apparently the high-and-mighty-we’re-all-open-source-wiki-esque-awesome folks at tumblr have decided that comments are beneath them and against the principle of the way they have tumblr set up. At least, that’s what I got from my 20-second google search.

When I asked Joe which blogging service I should use (tumblr, wordpress, blogger, blogspot…) he listed off a lot of reasons to use each one, but did lean towards tumblr for its customizableness (making up words is a passion I was turned on to by Ms. Michelle E., to be introduced shortly)… so I didn’t ask too many questions. It’s Joe. It’s technology. Who am I to question his opinion? This is one of the few areas in which I don’t put up a fight ;)

But this also means Joe and his Technologyness will come and fix this for us. So jot down those comments you have on (gasp!) a piece of paper for now and enter them as soon as we have this little bug fixed. I tried looking up various solutions on tumblr hacks, but figure it’ll be safer to have Joe (“The Genius,” as my mom calls him) come and save the day when he has a mo (one of the few abbreviations I actually find fun rather than annoying. Okay fine, it’s still a bit annoying).
