Why the random picture of a shoe? It goes with the theme :) And all blogs need cool pics and links, right? I’m hoping Nike will be contacting me soon to advertise on the blog. But, to be fair, I did cover a fair amount of mileage in these fugly babies last year. They’re AMAZINGLY light. Putting on my old Mizunos after these guys was like strapping a few weights to my feet. They’re surprisingly well-cushioned and lasted pretty well, though I did eventually develop blisters - that may have been preventable with more medical taping and less miles run per session. The NikePlus factor (expecting the phone to ring with Nike on the line any minute now) was a driving force in my getting these shoes, and it was a lovely arrangement while training for 2 half marathons last year. I’ve since hung ‘em up, in favor of doughnuts and sitting at my sewing machine. Perhaps the Bride thing will get me exercising again. Remains to be seen.
